cotton sways and lingers
circles, dots, spotsholes in the jeans
worn fabric, embroidered sleeves
silk sweeps the side
of the neck
hair tucked, turned into
a knot on top
of the crown...
and the bow's
folded, falls toward
the ground
the thread meshed, knitted
and woven close
encloses the body's
shoulders, waist and chest.
the body in motion, walks
wind catches pieces...
cotton sways and lingers.
